Harry Potter

Hello again my fellow book freaks,
After finally putting my best friends begging to me to read the Harry Potter books. After reading the books I was glad I read them. Normally I would put in a summary of the book, but there are to many to talk about. So I will tell you a little bit of info. on the books. They are a little violent, in my opinion I would wait until 5th grade or when your parents say so. The movies are PG-13,  so please get your parents permission before watching. For this post I thought because there is to much to talk about if you have read the books (or read them and then do this) please in the comments put three reasons why other people should read the books. Thank you! Please no spoilers!
Off to read some more!

  1. Oh, book freak. This is amazing! I am so happy you did a book review on Song for a whale! I love that book. Is this open to the public? I love this idea of yours. It really brings me joy during these days of sadness!

Song for a Whale

Hello fellow book freaks, I recently read this book for a book club and loved it. Song for a Whale is by: Lynne Kelly with a lexile of 800 and is realistic fiction. Iris is named after a whale that pasted away on the shore the day she was born, it was her Grandma's idea. Iris is deaf and so are her grandparents. One day in class her teacher showed her class a video about Blue 55 a whale with a 55 hertz song while most whales have a 35 hertz. She realizes he is a lot like her, swimming around many years having no one to talk to or that can understand her. Blue 55's parents are to different kinds of whales. Due to his different song the others can not understand him and when he tries to make the other whales' songs it won't come out. As Iris researches more and more about Blue 55 and talked to the music teacher about recreating Blue 55's song. Eventually she is ready to try and see Blue 55.
